Benefit Show Planned for Exchange / Croft Engineer Paul Jocelyn

In an industry full of self-obsessed people, Paul Jocelyn has always been a true gent.

Anyone who has been to shows at The Croft or Exchange over the years will have appreciated the work of Paul Jocelyn, perhaps without even realising it. Better known as PJ, Paul has been responsible for making the artists we love sound their best as sound engineer for both iconic venues.

Sadly, PJ has recently been of ill health which has seen him in intensive care. The good news is that he’s now recovering in hospital but, as someone who is self-employed, Paul’s personal finances have taken a real hit. Therefore local artists and promoters have knuckled down to put together a benefit concert in order to help him out.

Artists confirmed to play so far include Silver Waves, 7 Crowns, Bosc Monitor, Nietszche Trigger Finger, De Selby Codex, Doctor Nut, Idiot Strength, Michael Dennis, Zam Zam and many more. If you want to support the cause but are unable to attend on the night then you can donate right here.

You can also join the official event here, which at time of writing has over 400 attendees.
