After having released his new single in November, Bipolar Sunshine is finally back to play Bristol before the release of his highly anticipated debut album.
Bipolar Sunshine is the solo project of Adio Marchant, having previously been the singer of the Mancunian six-piece Kid British. Bipolar Sunshine is a suitable name for Marchant’s sunny (pardon the terrible pun), yet strangely atypical brand of pop; his often gloomy lyrics are offset by the pulsing beat of his songs that forever drive them into more joyful territory. Couple this with Marchant’s intricate song composition and well-placed song composition, and you can see why Bipolar Sunshine has the indie-sphere buzzing.
To be witness to these beautiful sounds, head down Thekla on Sunday the 12th of April for what is sure to be a fantastic gig.
