After the huge success of ‘Charlemagne’ earlier this year. Manchester-born Blossoms have been quite the rage on the radio scene. Add to that the release of their self-titled debut album and appearances at all the major festivals over the summer, including Reading and Leeds and Festival No. 6, the band have been carving a successful path to glory, and attracting a cult-like following along the way.

This month sees Blossoms take on a string of dates up and down the UK, slipping in a sold-out date at the Bierkeller, before heading off to take on Europe with their refreshing guitar-based fusion of indie, disco and pop. With psychedelic synth hooks and a hint of ‘80s sparkle – citing both Abba and Arctic Monkeys as their musical influences – it’ll be interesting to see how the quintet brings the whole show together on stage.

Coming in equipped with a host of bangers from the album up their sleeve, including the previously released ‘Getaway’ and ‘Honey Sweet’, you can expect to be shaking and shimmying to their unique melodies right from the off.

Blossoms play Bristol Bierkeller on 24th September. Watch their video for ‘Charlemagne’ below.
