Bristol Sounds has confirmed it will be postponing its concert series at Bristol’s Harbourside to June 23rd – 27th 2021.

Conal Dodds, Director of Crosstown Concerts, today explained:

“The Bristol Sounds team has been working hard on trying to reschedule the 2020 event to a date later in the year. However, with feedback from Bristol City Council, our audience and suppliers, we have reluctantly taken the decision to postpone the event until summer 2021.

“We are currently negotiating with all the artists concerned, and all tickets will remain valid for the equivalent show in 2021. Regrettably, it is not possible to reschedule the Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds show.

“This is a challenging time for everyone in the music and events industry, and all of Bristol’s incredible festival and promoter teams are looking forward to bringing live music events back to the city, as soon as it is safe to do so. We hope that, by moving to the same dates next year, it will enable as many of our audience as possible to keep hold of their tickets and turn out to the Harbourside to see the fantastic line-up of artists in 2021.

“Bristol is one of the most community-focused and collaborative cities we could wish to live and work in. We’ve been amazed by the support from our suppliers and our audiences over the last few weeks, and we’re looking forward to the days when we can safely stage this, and our other shows, throughout the city’s venues.

“In the meantime, while we know times are hard for everyone, we’d urge you to please support us by keeping hold of your tickets to Bristol Sounds 2021. This will help us to navigate the next few months and give a huge boost to the local music economy. With that in mind, we have worked closely with our primary ticketing partner See Tickets, and all customers who purchased via See for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will be offered a voucher to redeem against any other available ticket(s) for any future shows promoted by Crosstown Concerts. Listings can be viewed at and are regularly updated.

“Any customers who alternately wish to seek a refund can do so by contacting See Tickets. Any ticket holders who purchased via Bristol Tickets should contact [email protected]

“Please support musicians by using this time to discover their new music online and head to their websites to pick up some merchandise, which could be the lifeblood of many acts over the coming weeks. We look forward to seeing you all soon!”

We salute all those in the local music scene who are working their absolute hardest to ensure that there is still a scene to return at some unknown point in time.
