We caught up with the Roche Musique label head, Cezaire, to find out about a few tracks that have been integral to the label’s growth as he gears up for two UK shows in partnership with Jamz Supernova’s label, Future Bounce.
Jamz Supernova’s very own Future Bounce label has teamed up with cult French label, Roche Musique, for an exclusive cross channel team up, bringing their unique high octane live experience to UK shores with two special shows landing in London and Bristol on 29th and 30th March respectively.
Headed up by label boss, DJ/producer Cezaire, Roche Musique has been putting out quality music since 2012 and is home to some of the most exciting electronic artists like FKJ, Darius, Kartell, Crayon, Katuchat and Zimmer. The London show takes place deep in the heart of Hackney’s NT’s Bar featuring Crayon, Cezaire, Ted Jasper and Melle Brown whilst Bristol will witness Cezaire, Jamz Supernova and Manami take the stage.
Cezaire commented “We’re so excited to come back to the UK and team up with Jamz’ label, Future Bounce. We share the same ambition to make people discover a large musical spectrum, from electronic, to G-funk, soul and RnB styles. Expect a great night of music”.
We caught up with the Roche Musique label head ahead of the shows to find out about a few tracks that have been integral to the label’s growth and subsequent success.
Kartell – Cost of Love
I’m always talking about “Pantera” or “La Jeunesse Retrouvé” but “Cost Of Love” is a foundation of what Roche Musique is. That blend of Hip Hop, Disco sample’s and House has built our reputation.
Dune & Twenty 9 – Myself
This track really expresses the diversity of the Label and reinforce the idea that we’re not just a disco house club crew. Our Inspiration are also taken from the UK Scene. For this track Jai Paul was one of them.
FKJ – Skyline
When I hear this track I can’t remove the smile on my face, I remember our US tour with FKJ and Dabeull, it was my favourite moment from FKJ’s live show. We also appear as guests on the video clip, and that’s part of good memories.
Dabeull feat Jordan Lee – Don’t Forget It
It’s feels like we’ve found a way to bring the Bee gees back but with a modern twist. I love this track and I love playing it on my Dj sets.
Darius – Pyor
Making a banger track full of nostalgia, with a smooth vibe. Only Darius can do it. This track is about a story, and it’s good to play it in a club because everybody feels on the same page. Really powerfull one. And it also shows the versatility of our artists.
