Oh Editors. These five guys from Stafford graced us with their debut album back in 2005, ‘The black room’, containing the memorable ‘Munich’ and ‘Blood’, only to follow it up with two number one albums ‘An End Has a Start’ and ‘In This Light and on This Evening’ reclaiming their sound with songs singles like ‘Smokers…’ and ‘Bones’. Their, at the time, quite unique sound in a sea of ‘indie’ even gained them a Mercury Prize nomination.
Back with a European tour in support of this month’s new offering, ‘In Dream’, it all starts off in Belfast this Friday, before they make their way across the waves to old England — first stop: none other than our own The Colston Hall.
There’s certainly a degree of anticipation for this one, with Bristol’s indie old guard and jangley students both set to be out in force. So if you haven’t got your tickets yet, go ahead a grab an evening with Tom Smith and Co.
