8th November | Louisiana

The Louisiana has housed many a gig where the energy has almost left the features of the building in tatters. The intimacy of the venue makes for riotous gigs. This coming Thursday, Estrons will bring nothing less than a thrashing set.

After years of anticipation, the release of their debut album You Say I’m Too Much, I Say You’re Not Enough is a work of dynamic power. Whether it’s Tali Källström’s direct lyricism that shuns common conformity, or their explosive riffs, the album embodies how to make an impact with every track. As stated, the album has been a labour of love that the outfit have agonised over. It’s the reflective nature of their work that makes them so unique.

These ‘misfits’ have solidly deserved the praise they have received for the LP, however, where Estrons strength truly lies is in their live performances. They don’t do anything half-arsedly. Having established the right balance between grittiness and melodic hooks that swing you into their sea of choas, the Cardiff-based tidal waves will be touching down in Bristol. It’s no exaggeration to say that they will engulf you. It’s essential to see this band while you can; they won’t be playing smaller venues for much longer.
