12th May | The Lantern
Former BLM cover-stars Flamingods, have been acquiring musical instruments from across the world to create their eclectic blend of music percussion, electronica and psychedelia, winning them praise all over.
The band released their fourth album Majesty in 2016 and are now touring to support the release of a new EP Kewali which will be released at the end of May. Flamingods are always great fun live and manage to get any crowd dancing.
Support on the Bristol date (12th May) comes from Yama Warashi who have also graced the Bristol Live cover. The band led by former Zun Zun Egui keyboardist Yoshino Shigihara sings mainly in Japanese despite being based in Bristol. Their music is a fusion of genres where east meets west. This is a double bill not to be missed.
