After much mystery, the headliner for the Stag-Exchange NYE special has been announced as Future Of The Left.
Now in their tenth year, the band (originally formed from the ashes of Mclusky and Jarcrew) will head up a bill of twenty (twenty!) acts across three stages. With their critically acclaimed 2013 LP ‘How To Stop Your Brain In An Accident’ and a back catalogue full of angry spitfire tunes, it’s sure to be a few sherries short of Auld Lang Syne.
Shared so far from the lineup are the ever impressive The St Pierre Snake Invasion, plus Armchair Committee, Gonga, Broken Bones Gentlemen’s Club, Iran Iran, The Tame, Hey You Guys!, Welcome Back Delta, Forgery Lit, The Backhand Jags, Abort Abort, Another Neville and Y CVn — with even more bands to be announced.
There’s often a distinct lack of rock’n’roll amidst the New Year’s madness — but here’s one hot injection to sort that right out.
