Barns Courtney – Trinity

Barns Courtney is the Manic Pixie Dream Boy of Ipswich, caressing our souls with his slick, blues-inspired pop. Craig Finn & Uptown Controllers + Laura Stevenson – Exchange

Craig Finn, once the consistent frontman of The Hold Steady, has found himself wading in the deep waters of solo production, occasionally joining forces with his band the Uptown Controllers. His release I Need A New War signifies a fresh new life for Finn, one that he’s kicking off at the Exchange this week. More here…

Amber Run + Stereo Honey –  SWX

Nottingham’s three piece Amber Run made their name with their intimate debut 5AM in 2015 and have gone from strength to strength ever since. Performing across festival stages, countries and continents, they land at SWX with support from sweet alt-rockers Stereo Honey. More here…

Kawala  – Exchange

It’s definitely been a journey for Jim and Dan, who locked down their addictive guitar and vocal duo when they were studying in Leeds. Since then, they’ve skyrocketed up the critics’ lists after an enlightening Mahogany session and a string of live dates across the UK. They bring their upbeat rhythms and intricate harmonies to the city on Monday. More here…

Jordan Rakei + Arlo Parks – SWX
