Thursday 1st August

Superlove + Joe Probert + Ratbags – Louisiana

Formed in Bristol in late 2018, three-piece rock band Superlove are building the brand of new popular British rock music, pulling on vast influences across nu-metal, indie, pop and alternative. Their visuals are trippy, their sound is solid and their reputation certainly precedes them. More here… 

Rosalie Cunningham + Goldray – Fleece

Rosalie Cunningham, previously of Ipso Facto fame, emerges from musical hibernation to play at the Fleece this month. Celebrating her eponymous debut album, which was released via Esoteric Recordings on 5th July, she takes her four-piece band on a UK tour this Autumn. More here… 

Friday 2nd August

Kiko Bun and Band + Gardna + Special guests – Fleece

North-West Londoner Kiko Bun is one in a million. A rare artist that offers a contemporary voice for his generation, he blends contemporary versions of reggae, soul and hip-hop, infiltrating the mainstream with something truly unique. A true crate-digger of vintage music and a serial collaborator, Kiko takes his influences from Panama’s big bass sound, the London lifestyle and a slower pace of metropolitan life. Football FC + The New America – Golden Lion

The self-proclaimed “Spunk Band from Bristol”, Football FC have been doing the rounds of Bristol’s most well-loved pubs and venues. With only two officially released singles, this band are slowly chipping away at success; a yet-to-be-discovered indie rock foursome, waiting for you to discover them. More here…  

Saturday 3rd August

Epic Beard Men – Fleece

They’ve shared stages, collaborations and studios, and now rap BFFs Sage Francis and B Dolan come together to form an official group: Epic Beard Men. While they may sound like a couple of moustached microbrewery owners that only wear flip flops, the super duo preach fun and good times through rhythmic hip-hop. More here… 

Monday 5th August

Mabel – Fleece

Some storytellers are just born with it. Whatever it is, Mabel McVey has it in abundance. The melodies she spins are far beyond her twenty two years, and since breaking onto the scene in 2015 with ‘Know Me Better’, she has grown from strength to strength. This girl gives R&B the edge it needs. More here…

Lime Cordiale – Louisiana

Brothers Oli and Louis are Lime Cordiale. Not the addition to your favourite vodka-based drink, but a dynamic family-led duo serving up hot, hook-laden jams. They’ve have announced their first European tour after selling out headline shows across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Their debut Permanent Vacation soundtracked Sydney’s summer, and they come to Bristol with (hopefully) buckets of sunshine. More here…
