Vena Cava – The Exchange | Tickets
Veering somewhere between evocative shoegaze and a grungey noise fuelled sound, Vena Cava create a wall of noise that’s both beautiful and brutal all at once. They’re a band that combine ferocious energy with melody and intricacy.
Tycho – Trinity | Tickets
Tycho is an American ambient music project led by Scott Hansen as primary composer, songwriter and producer. Hailing from San Francisco, California, he is known as ISO50 for his photographic and design works.

Little Baby Sharks – The Exchange | Tickets
First headline show from Bristol’s Velvet Revolver. Members of Nietzsche Trigger Finger, Toodles & The Hectic Pity, Springbreak, Dogeyed. Support comes from WOAHNOWS and The Lovesicks.
Low Island – The Louisiana | Tickets
Oxford four-piece began life as the accidental by-product of a theatre score written by Jamie (vocals/guitars/keys/electronics) and Carlos (vocals/guitar/keys). Head to The Louisiana to see how they made that into a stunning debut album.

The Daniel Wakeford Experience – Thunderbolt | Tickets
Pure and ecstatic pop from a charismatic and honest individual. Daniel Wakeford is a singer-songwriter from the UK’s burgeoning learning disabled music scene, based in Brighton and previously starred in ‘The Undateables’.
Why? – Thekla | Tickets
The project of Yoni Wolf, Why?’s sixth album is the first fully home-recorded WHY? album since the project’s 2003 debut. An intimate and warm work, Thekla will surely provide the kind of atmosphere an album like this needs.

Beth Rowley – The Louisiana | Tickets
A very special intimate tour for former Brit Award nominee Beth Rowley ahead of her much anticipated second album set for release this autumn. This will be the last chance to see Beth up close and personal in such small venues.
Presidents of Parp – Colston Hall | Tickets
Formed in the Spring of 2014 Presidents of Parp explore the beauty and majesty of the sound of brass. They are a brass quintet with style and unlike anything you’re likely to come across any time soon.

Ben Ottewell – The Louisiana | Tickets
As a singer and lead guitarist in rock band Gomez, Ben Ottewell is well known for his unmistakable voice and talent for blistering and inspired guitar solos. The Louisiana provides an intimate setting for his solo work.
DeCyphers Hip Hop Session – The Canteen | Free
The band consisting of some of Bristol’s finest players will be providing the audio canvas for any and all MCs/Singers/Poets/Beatboxers that want to come and jump up on stage at The Cantten. Expect heavy Hip Hop flavoured grooves.

Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith – The Lantern | Tickets
Composer, performer and producer Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith absorbs and distills the sounds of the natural world around her to create blossoming three-dimensional soundscapes. Her latest album ‘EARS’ (2016) demonstrates her versatility and capacity for evolution.
Mannequin Pussy – The Crofter’s Rights | Tickets
Initially formed as a duo, the now-expanded Philadelphian thrash rock four piece is an essential accompaniment; Mannequin Pussy play fast and oh boy do Mannequin Pussy play loud.

Kite Base – The Louisiana | Tickets
Kite Base, a two-piece band consisting of bass guitarists Ayse Hassan (Savages) and Kendra Frost, make an established and unique sound through electronic samples and forward-thinking song structures.
Thurston Moore Group – The Lantern | Tickets
The songs Thurston introduce are expansive, anthemic and exploratory with lyrics, co-written with poet Radio Radieux, investigating and heralding the love between angels, goddess mysticism and a belief in healing through new birth.
