The Brecon Beacons beckon. August is only a handful of pay packets away (depending on the size of your hands). Christmas is far enough in the past to allow the bank balance breathing space and afford us the boldness to invest in a halcyon summer. Green Man Festival gave us every reason to part with our hard-earned cash this week with their line-up announcement for 2020’s party on the Glanusk Estate.
With headliners Michael Kiwanuka, Mac Demarco (his only UK show), February’s Bristol in Stereo cover artist Caribou and Little Dragon headlining, the scrum for tickets will be more muscular than a Six Nations pile-on.
If that’s not got you polishing your sunglasses and dusting off your pop-up tent, there are plenty more top acts to look forward to, including Goldfrapp, Thundercat, Agnes Obel, Parquet Courts, black midi, Ty Segall and the Freedom Band, Giant Swan, Fenne Lily, Lazy Day and Lazarus Kane.
