2nd February | Hours Space

If you Google Search Jamie Cruickshank, you’ll find in fact that there is a Canadian bobsledder with the same name – unless Bristol’s golden boy has a secret talent he isn’t telling us. Along with being one half of punk rockers, Human Bones and fun slacker-rock band, The Gnarwhals, Jamie has been tearing at heartstrings with his folk-drenched solo music. Lying somewhere in between Joni Mitchell and Donovan, Jamie’s observational lyric writing is a force to be reckoned with.

His debut EP, Worn Through is due for release on 2nd February through Breakfast Records and to celebrate, there will be an intimate show at HOURS Space. The EP will feature fan-favourite woozy-ness such as ‘I Can See Totterdown’, ‘Loserville’ and the silvery ‘New Shoes’, songs that he’s already played in support of Fenne Lily and of Lucy Dacus.

The night will see Jamie perform hits from his debut EP along with a stunning set of support from exciting young Bristolian songwriters, Emily Isherwood, Static Queen and Ellie Gray. Get your lighters at the ready, phone torches are optional too. This gig is bound to be a special night.
