24th May | Loco Klub

As much as you can tangibly taste the irony in its name, It All Worked out Great, the definitive title of the two-volume first EP from Bristol antagonists LICE is actually a pretty fitting summation of the group’s trajectory since they started haunting various stages across the city a couple of years back. With their riotous approach to live shows and their music being of such substantial quality, they currently sit within a state of quiet excitement, closing one chapter with a set of songs that they have honed and tightened since their early days and opening another by signing to Balley Records, Joe Talbot from Idles’ label, to release them. This headline, hometown show at the unique Loco Klub venue under Temple Meads is the perfect place for LICE to herald this next chapter.

Joining the group are two completely contrasting acts that harbour the fervour and individualism that LICE possess. Following their headline show at Crofters Rights last month, Haze bring their dynamic and impervious post-punk, while EP/64 will exhibit their immensely unique and unpredictable performance with Bristol’s enigmatic Silver Waves alongside them.

Join LICE as they bound into the next rousing instalment of their so-far striking existence.
