2nd October | Rough Trade
It’s been two hours and I’m still walking through Bristol’s empty streets, wondering what just happened. Rough Trade was decoracted with plastic sheeting, the same one horror films tend to love, and Lingua Ignota‘s set was quite close to waking up some (inner) demons. Her music is raw, disturbing, organic. It seems like many hearts and guts have been shaken by her unique way of mesmerising an audience. Many tears were shed, many voices were heard. Like a prayer, a chant, or a swan song. The audience was captured in a nightmare that swallowed us all, and left us breathless, unconscious, aimlessly walking in that city with no soul, trying to find ours.
