The Louisiana has announced the line-up for its 30th anniversary all-dayer, plus a full week of amazing shows following the party.
One of the staples of Bristol’s music scene for a long time now (30 years to be precise), The Louisiana’s birthday is the chance to celebrate not just the venue itself, but all the brilliant acts that have graced its stage over the years.
The birthday line-up represents a wide range of some of the most exciting music the city has to offer.
Beginning at 4pm on 26th November, the line up features live performances from LICE, Bubba, Poisonous Birds, Last Hyena, Human Bones, Oxygen Thief, Flag Fen, October Drift, Ghost of the Avalanche and Oh, The Guilt. Phew.
The venue will also be showing an exclusive first screening of short film Treble, a documentary which features interviews with creatives all over the city about music, including Joe from IDLES and our very own editor, Loki.
Through-out the rest of the week you can also catch The Wytches on the 28th, Cousin Kula launch their EP on the 29th, Halo play their debut album Lunatic Ride on the 30th, The Nova Saints on 1st December, and a special show on the 27th November which will be announced on Friday.
