Annoyingly, summer isn’t here. I know this may come as a surprise for you, but it’s true. We’re currently occupying that weird phase between wearing duvets out the house to keep warm and having to see other people’s gross feet in flip flops all the time. It’s a strange season.

For those of you that are struggling to find anything to do in this no-man’s-land of seasons, why not get used to evening socialisation by heading down to the film club that the lovely people of The Louisiana are putting on over the next few months.

Held in their intimate cellar room, and costing a very reasonable £2, the much loved Bristol venue will be showing a brilliant selection of films, most with a link to music. This Tuesday they’ll be showing I’m With You, a documentary that gets up close and personal with GROUPLOVE, as well as a few other short documentaries and music videos. Over the next few weeks the venue will be screening the Ian Curtis biopic Control, Nick Cave documentary 20,000 Days on Earth and Scott Pilgrim VS The World. All shows start at 8pm, but you can get your seat from 7pm. See the full list of events here.
