25th & 26th May | Eastville Park

Now in its eighth year, Love Saves The Day has stamped itself into Bristol’s calendar as one of the most anticipated weekends of the year. From small beginnings in Castle Park, its evolution to the thriving two-day festival in Eastville Park comes with a bigger and bolder line-up each year.

True to form, the LSTD team have selected some of the best in Bristol’s scene, with appearances from TS Graye, Dismantle and Georgia ft Emz & Dimpson. As for the line-up as a whole, there’s truly something for everyone.

Starting with grime, Lady Leshurr, Little Simz and the anarchic slowthai are quickly paving their way as some of the freshest artists around. If you’re in need of an R&B fix, rising star IAMDDB and Ray Blk are no-brainer slots to head over to.

Even if you tried, you won’t be able to escape from disco divas and house heavyweights, as some the world’s biggest names are pitching down across the twelve stages. From Denis Sulta to SolardoPeggy Gou to CamelPhat, Ibizian euphoria will be spreading across Eastville. For something a little dirtier, Holy Goof and Notion are nice bassline injections amongst drum & bass titans Sub Focus, Danny Byrd, Friction and Noisia.

As for the headliners? Well… topping the bill on Saturday is the notorious Lily Allen. Off the back of her latest album, Shame, Lily has proven that she has grown in versatility, jumping into different styles from hip-hop to drum & bass. Closing the weekend, Chase & Status will be flipping the script and dedicating their entire set to jungle. This set comes at an ideal time, as their new RTRN ll JUNGLE album will be dropping only a week later. Who’s ready for some sneak previews?

Aside from the obviously sterling line-up, Love Saves pride themselves on implementing policies which ensure that party-goers know that the organisers are conscious of what a good festival needs. This includes adhering to making the festival a ‘safe space’, plastic limitation (bring your own water bottle) and a drug-testing centre. This mindfulness is just one of many reasons why Love Saves has a gleaming reputation for finding the balance of encouraging both shenanigans and well-being.

If all that has got you excited, you can also bag Love Saves The Night after party tickets for Motion to truly make the most of the Bank Holiday bonanza.
