Noods Radio has officially become an Ofcom registered DAB station!

Since their humble beginnings broadcasting from a living room in Stokes Croft back in 2015, Noods has grown and evolved hugely. Their new official status as a DAB radio station marks a milestone for the Noods crew and a greatly-deserved reward for their tireless work as a vital, independent presence in the local scene. They’ll be broadcasting across Bristol as of the 15th July. To celebrate, they have a wealth of exciting guests, including Hi5Ghost, Neek, Pessimist, and many more, joining their many residents on the station over the next few months.

Speaking about this news, founding member Leon says, “We’re REALLY excited by the prospect of becoming a terrestrial station. The opportunity for someone to stumble across the station or just tune in easily in the car is something that we’ve always dreamed about and it’s just mad to know that people will be able to do it from next week”.

So, as of next Monday (15th) make sure to retune your radio. In the meantime check out some of their mixtapes here (there’s another one on the way soon!).
