You only get one chance to make a first impression. That said, the second wave of announcements for the new Ritual Union Festival on Saturday March 28th builds remarkably well upon the strong excitement generated by the first set of bands confirmed. The foundations for an annual institution are looking well established.

Not only is the festival in Bristol, but it is very much of Bristol, promoted as it is by local lynchpins, Crosstown Concerts, in collaboration with local promoter, 1% Of One. Ritual Union has been Oxford’s premier one-day festival. Now it’s our turn.

Above and beyond the joys of the first wave of announcements (with the likes of Markia HackmanBoy AzoogaSquidRozi PlainWillie J Healey, JOHN, Talk Show, local enigmas and Sounds of 2020 recommendations Pet ShimmersLynks Afrikka and wych elm), they’ve only gone and added Dream Wife, Warmduscher, Fenne Lily, Egyptian Blue, Los Bitchos, Lazurus Kane, PVA, Ghum, Pozi, Milo’s Planes, Norman, Swallow Cave, The Shuks, Happy Couple and Ruthie.

The festival is a 14+ event. Tickets and further information can be found at
