Simple Things | Preview — Less Than 200 Tickets Left

Simple Things is a classic example of how a festival can develop in just three years. As many others are failing to provide something different and pulling down the shutters for good, others have come into their own and are truly thriving.

That’s probably the key word about this particular festival, ‘different’. Marrying the best new guitar music around with cutting edge hip hop and soul artists like Nightmares On Wax, it gives ‘something for everyone’ a whole new meaning. The venues are spread right across the city centre, with most activity going on around the Colston Hall area, you could say the event gives the venue a new lease of life.

Who are we most excited about then? Well there’s our locals whom we’ll raise a glass to first; Oliver Wilde, Idles, Spectres, Something Anorak, Turbowolf and more. Beyond that there’s heaps more to be excited about; Death From Above, Eagulls, Liars, Snakeheads, the list goes on. As a matter of fact, there’s nothing I wouldn’t intently go and see — the main task will be juggling those inevitable clashes.

If you’re yet to pick up a ticket then be warned there’s less than 200 left now, so quickly click here to avoid bitter disappointment.
