Bristol noise band Spectres have announced the name and date of their second album as well as new single ‘Neck’. Condition will be released 10th March via Sonic Cathedral and is available to pre-order from the label’s site. It follows the release of both the band’s debut album Dying and remix album Dead on the label.

New single ‘Neck’, an urgent, crunching song that expands on what the band created on their previous record. It joins previous single ‘Dissolve’ on Condition.

In an interview with Sonic Cathedral, singer Joe Hatt says that on the record: “We became even less interested in actually playing guitar, which meant that we got more into experimenting with the sounds we could get out of them when brutalising them and letting the feedback do the talking.”

He added: “The same things drive us now as they did before because they’re so deep-rooted. Making noise that can’t help but make people forget and remember everything at the same time, and total disdain towards a world where we kind of need to exist.”
