Tail Feather ‘Self-Titled’ | EP Review

Bristol-via-Reading Americana four-piece Tail Feather are taking us back to 1973 with their self-titled EP, released on 1st October. The record opens with ‘Domestic’, a 70s-esque mix of rock’n’roll blues with memorable lyrics, easily comparable to Almost Famous’ fictional music legends Stillwater, or the real ones for that matter.

‘Home Sweet Home’ is a perfectly-chilled sing-along track, building up toward the latter half into an upbeat Springsteen-esque toe-tapper, before eventually fading into the soft, harmonic vocals and quiet guitar of ‘Landslide’.

A modern twist on 70s rock’n’roll makes for an interesting and brilliant debut EP.
