Turbowolf have always offered something different, they’re influenced by the hidden world and make tunes with ridiculous amounts of pummel, no seriously – it only takes one listen to ‘Solid Gold’ or ‘All The Trees’ and you’ll understand.
With their second album landing this April, a UK tour follows, and luckily for us they’re going to be hitting Bristol’s newest venue, The Marble Factory. Speaking about the hometown show singer Chris Georgiadis told us, “Bristol is always good, people come out and have a party really, it’s not a gig, more of a celebration”. We’ve only had a few tastes of the new record so far, but tracks like ‘Rich Gift’ and ‘Rabbits Foot’ have left expectations soaring, and I have no doubts that they won’t disappoint.
Over the years they’ve fast become one of our favourite live bands, with prolific past shows at places like The Croft (RIP) and The Fleece, who says this next one can’t make it up there. Be sure to get along.
