As the live events industry continues to face uncertainty, the team behind Shambala Festival has launched AiDU TV, a digital media platform dedicated to supporting the arts.
Set up to showcase artists and support the grassroots of the music industry, AiDU is a brand new digital channel offering an alternative live streaming experience and platform.
Their first series ‘Live from The Jam Jar’ streams every other Sunday from 8pm and has already featured performances from the likes of Solomon OB, Rachael Dadd, and Alabaster DePlume. Upcoming episodes come from Snazzback, Rozi Plain, Dizraeli and more. You can check out previous episodes of ‘Live from the Jam Jar’ here.
Speaking on this new project, Dan Raffety – Music Director of Shambala Festival says:
“We wanted to step the livestream concept up a gear. It’s been incredible to see so much creativity blooming online – but livestream quality can be rather hit or miss, even if you do manage to avoid getting muted by Facebook! We wanted to showcase artists with the quality they deserve – playing live together in a beautiful space, and captured by an award winning production team.”
