Bristol promoters, The Bottle, have announced the first in a series of their Frontline EPs, raising funds to support the NHS and its staff, who are very much on the front line in these embattled times. Each compilation will contain unreleased tracks and demos from many of The Bottle’s favourite acts from Bristol and from further afield, “quality music that might not have seen the light of day otherwise,” according to the project’s originator, Ben Woodruff.
The first release is out this Friday (April 17th) and sets the bar high, with tracks from Talk Show, Damefrisør, The Shuks, Lynks Afrikka (ft. Mandy Visuals),Gum Soul and Milo’s Planes. All money raised will go to NHS Charities Together. The Bottle have set up a JustGiving page entitled ‘Live Music Scene For The NHS‘ so that people can link in other events to the fundraising effort, and so that people can donate directly, separately from buying the EP.
