Blanck Mass – Loco Klub

Once living in the shadow of his former project, Benjamin Power’s Blanck Mass is now a monolithic beast of sound and scale. Animated Violence Mild is certainly a furious creature, for the most part replete in aggressive synths, heavy distortion and pummelling beats. Housewives – Rough Trade

If a band name is supposed to give you an idea of what you’re getting in for, I can only imagine London’s Housewives got bored with a life of domesticity, mixed up a noxious concoction of cleaning chemicals, and recorded an album entirely from the ensuing, nightmarish high. No kidding though, it’s wild, and quite brilliant. More here…

Critically-acclaimed South London jazz drummer Moses Boyd dropped his debut album Dark Matter only last month, but shows on his thirteen-date UK tour have been sold out much longer. His work tinkers in a sublime palette of traditional jazz and electronic elements, effortlessly blending the two into something that’s grooving and fresh, brimming with vitality and the spirit of collaboration.
