10th October | Trinity
In early October, the usual role of the kind of ‘tropical pop’ made by Hollie Cook is to remind us all of the warmer days that just about linger in our minds from the bygone summer. This October, when you can still see people walking the streets in shorts and t-shirts, Cook’s visit to The Trinity Centre just felt like yet another intense beam of summer sunlight. Delivering many of the songs from 2018’s Vessel of Love, she smiled her way through the set as much as her audience did. Paul Lippiatt was there with his trusty camera.
