This Saturday sees the Boatless Booze Cruise take place on your screens in honour of and to raise funds for its intended venue, Exchange. You can stock up on suitable liquid supplies from your local emporium (perhaps an independent and local retailer?) from a social distance and then you can gather your household on the sofa for a noisy Saturday afternoon – that or just get the headphones out and let the others miss out. See the line-up and further instructions below. Get your ticket and enjoy these great bands from home! Tix & more info at: https://www.tixforgigs.com/Event/34850
In further Exchange-related good news, SKIES were due to perform at Exchange on May 19th, but self-evidently can’t be there. With the magic of t’Internet, they’re going to honour the date and perform a set via live stream from Kent as a mark of respect for the venue! It’s free to watch – but if you’d like to buy a ticket to help support the band and Exchange, you can do do here: www.musicglue.com/skies/tour.
And if that’s not quite enough reminders of Exchange whilst you can’t cross its threshhold, Exchange Record Shop is now live! It features loads of music from people associated with the venue on a ‘pay what you want’ basis, all masterminded by Exchange co-founder Fat Paul. Check it out here: https://www.musicglue.com/exchange-records/
