Southwest duo, Orbury Common, return with rather vibe-y new offering, ‘New Moon Nudes’, premiering now on Bristol in Stereo.

Calling on “analogue synthesis, electroacoustic manipulation and field recordings”, the depth and breadth of the track is amazing, with every sound painstakingly crafted as if to take the listener on a quasi-religious space journey, feeling at once ancient and futuristic. Percussion crackles and bass fuzzes, as synth-work treads a line between atonal and rapturous, with the resulting lo-fi mélange sounding like a tape recently dug up from a previously forgotten civilisation.

Inspired by the occult, the forthcoming EP, Building The Goddess Temple, is expected in full later this week.
